At Ch\u00e2teau Saint-Maur Cru Class\u00e9, the adventure of the 2025 vintage officially began on Tuesday 20 August.<\/p>

In the cool of the night, the harvest began with the first bunches of Rolle, the emblematic white grape variety of our estate. This vintage was forged under the sign of resilience: the particularly rainy winter and spring enabled the underground water reserves to be replenished, impacted by the intense drought of 2024<\/span>. However, this humidity has led to strong pest pressure, particularly from mildew<\/b>. This threat demanded constant attention\u00a0<\/span>in the vineyard, which is essential in our organic conversion system.<\/p>

Despite these challenges, the vines budded well and flowered beautifully. The dedication and expertise of our team of winegrowers, led by Patrick Galliano, were decisive. Their hard work made it possible to rise to this challenge, even if mildew unfortunately had an impact on some plots with lightning attacks on the bunches.\u00a0<\/p>

Fortunately, the mild summer, which was less scorching than the previous year, allowed the grapes to ripen slowly and harmoniously. The harvest took place in ideal conditions, with mild temperatures at night and summery ones during the day, ensuring optimal ripening of the grapes.<\/p>

The baton has now been passed to our cellar master, Am\u00e9lie, and her team. It's in the cellar that their passion and expertise will sublimate these precious grapes to make an exceptional wine.<\/p>

We are convinced that this vintage will reflect the soul of our terroir and the strength of our commitment to respectful viticulture. We wish all our teams a wonderful harvest, and invite you to follow this crucial period with us, which promises to produce a memorable vintage.<\/p>
