Château Saint-Maur awarded the "Vignobles & Découvertes" label: national recognition for our commitment to wine tourism

We are proud to announce that Château Saint-Maur Cru Classé has just been officially awarded the national "Vignobles & Découvertes" label by Atout France. It's a wonderful accolade shared with 73 local professionals committed to developing wine tourism in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez.

The official presentation of the plaques took place on Monday 16 June 2025 at the Hôtel communautaire, in the presence of Philippe Leonelli, Vice-President of the Communauté de communes with responsibility for Tourism, and a large number of players from the sector. This label, awarded for three years, underlines our determination to offer an immersive, high-quality wine tourism experience that respects our terroir.

An exceptional wine tourism destination in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez

Supported by the Communauté de communes, the "Vignobles & Découvertes" label now positions the Gulf of Saint-Tropez as a wine destination in its own right, accessible all year round, beyond just the summer season.

With its unique landscapes, skilled crafts, living heritage and excellent wines, our region has a strong, sustainable and authentic identity, capable of attracting a public in search of new experiences.

What the "Vignobles & Découvertes" label stands for

Created in 2009, this label rewards destinations offering :

  • A structured wine offer,

  • Complementary tourist services: accommodation, restaurants, heritage, events, leisure...

  • A quality welcome provided by trained professionals,

  • And a real synergy between the wine and tourism sectors.

Today, 75 destinations have the label, bringing together more than 8,700 professionals. This development is fully in line with the ambition of Nathalie Delattre, President of the Conseil Supérieur de l'Œnotourisme, to make France Europe's leading wine tourism destination by 2030.

The commitments of Château Saint-Maur

For several years now, we've been building a comprehensive, friendly and responsible wine tourism offer, supported by all our teams. This label validates our commitments:

  • Working hand in hand with local players (accommodation providers, restaurateurs, craftspeople, guides, etc.),

  • Promoting sustainable tourism that respects nature and the seasons.
