For the Heritage Days, Château Saint-Maur Cru Classé opens the doors to its wine cellar and invites you to discover its history and expertise.

Built in just nine months, our winery, with its contemporary architecture, reflects the vision of its owner, Roger Zannier. The Sunday 20 September, a number of free guided tours will be available for adults and children, with routes specially tailored to each group.

A tour designed for children aged 4 to 12

To 11.00 am and 4.00 pm*, the youngest children will set out to discover the different stages involved in making grape juice during an educational tour of A 30-minute session specially designed for children aged 4 to 12.

From harvesting the bunches to pressing the grapes, via the extraction of aromas, they will follow the journey of the grapes step by step to understand how the fruit is transformed into juice.

The tour will end with a a gourmet tasting of fresh grapes and grape juice.

Behind the scenes at the winery (tours for adults)

To 2.00 pm in French and 3.00 pm in English, guided tours* of 45 minutes will give you the chance to explore our wine cellar and learn about the main stages in the winemaking process.

The tour will continue with a tasting of two iconic vintages, L’Excellence and Saint-M, two rosés that reflect the terroir of the Château Saint-Maur Cru Classé.

Make the most of your visit – there’s a wine bar overlooking the vineyards

Our wine bar will also be open all day. Make the most of your visit by settling down with a glass of wine overlooking the vineyards, accompanied by gourmet platters and our spreads.
