Corinne CHRISTOPHLE

2021, the second harvest at Château Saint-Maur and still the same emotion for Corinne, the vineyard manager.

However, it was already 15 years ago that she harvested for the first time, at Château Sainte Roseline. An experience that marked her to the point of conditioning her future: the young woman, originally from the Rhône-Alpes region and a former dance teacher, never left the vineyards of Provence, abandoning her ballerinas for the tractors.

After Château Sainte-Béatrice and Domaine des Grands Esclans, she joined Château Saint-Maur where she was entrusted with the management of responsibility for the 45 hectares of vineyards located in Cannet-des-Maures.

This self-taught fighter has succeeded in finding her place in a rather masculine wine world.

processes used and parallel with the commitments

In order to reveal the full nobility of his Crus Classés, Roger Zannier had an impressive cellar built in 2013. It will be built in a record time of 9 months. At the same time, with the greatest respect for the vines, a vast replanting and complantation programme was launched, which was spread out until 2021.

Complantation is the ancestral art of mixing grape varieties on the same land. This agricultural technique ensures a regular wine harvest by creating a complex and natural environment.
